Disclaimer

This site is a free service to assist homeowners in connecting with local service contractors. All contractors are independent and this site does not warrant or guarantee any work performed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed. All persons depicted in a photo or video are actors or models and not contractors listed on this site.

What that means in practice

The contractor you reach is an independent business. This site does not supervise, schedule or inspect its work, and it makes no promise about the quality, cost or timing of any job.

Information on this site is general. It is not an inspection of your door, and it does not replace the advice of a contractor who can see the door. Never attempt spring or cable work because of something you read here.

Sources for safety guidance and local rules are linked where they appear, and were read on 6 November 2026. Agencies update their pages, so check them before relying on a detail.
